Greetings to all former CGF vendors, guests, artists, fan groups, and other fantastic and cool people!

THANK YOU so much for your participation, support, and love of Classic Game Fest over the past few years!!

The crowds at CGF2015 were huge, and we can now confidently say that we went just OVER 6000+ in attendance this year!! With well over 100+ booths, including 95 different vendors/artists/guests/musicians/fan groups, CGF has set a new “high score” when it comes to retro gaming conventions — both in Texas and beyond! We had vendors and guests from all over US including Oklahoma, New Mexico, Utah, California, Oregon, Washington, Florida, and of course, from ALL over Texas!

As we approach the end of a very hectic and HOT summer, we would like to take a moment to say THANKS to all of you for your help, support, and participation in Classic Game Fest! What started as simply a big tournament/party at a Game Over store in Austin 8 years ago, Classic Game Fest now has become one of the single biggest retro gaming events in the country, and it is still far and away the biggest one in Texas! We simply could not have made that possible without all of YOUR help, participation, and assistance in getting the word out by promoting the event on your websites, social media outlets, and retro gaming groups/forums. We LOVE the entire retro gaming community! And it is our extreme pleasure to unite ALL members of the retrogaming community from all over the US once per year in this amazing event. At Classic Game Fest, we are much bigger than any single person, store, or group… we are NOT competitors/individuals/groups/bands/vendors/artists — but we are united as ONE massive retrogaming colossus for the entire retro gaming world to see and enjoy!!

By the way, if you haven’t already, we really would appreciate any feedback on this years’ event. We had yellow survey cards at the event, but just in case you missed those, you may email me directly at info@classicgamefest.com and I’ll be happy to add your comments to that list of suggestions/improvements for 2016. We realize that we are human, and we know that no single person, convention, event, etc. can ever be perfect, BUT we do promise that we take any and all criticism, suggestions, and comments to heart AND we will do our absolute best every year to make improvements wherever needed to keep this convention going strong and successful for all participants and attendees alike. We want this to be YOUR favorite retro gaming convention — we want to treat you right AND we want to do everything we can to help all of our vendors/artists/guests maximize their exposure and profits. If you ever feel we are not achieving that goal, please kindly let us know!

Also, I’d like to remind you that booth registrations for CGF2016 are available now online, and we would LOVE to have you all back for CGF2016 on July 30-31, 2016! Basic info and booth pricing/options/due dates/etc. are now available online. For early-bird pricing/options, please sign up today online and submit payment and sales tax ID by no later than December 31. For next year, we’re at the same place (Palmer Events Center – Austin, TX), BUT we are making it even BIGGER!! NEW layout, and BIGGER convention hall — next year we’ll be almost double the space going from 25,000 to 45,000 square feet of awesome-NES!! If you sell or market anything related to retro video games, don’t let anything or anyone cause you to miss out on this unique opportunity to put your product, company, brand, etc. in front of the single largest crowd of retro gamers assembled all year long anywhere in Texas.

If you haven’t already locked in YOUR spot for CGF2016, please APPLY NOW!

THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF YOU, and we hope to see you back next year!!

Sincerely,
David Kaelin
